of qualified and credentialed supervisors, interns participate in meaningful
and practical internships, designed to further learning goals and professional
development.
CURRENT INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
ADULT EXTENDED CARE SERVICES
offer services
that are both office based and community based to adults with serious and
chronic mental health disorders. Interns have the opportunity to be assigned
a caseload of clients to whom they would offer case management/counseling
services on an individual basis and co-facilitate psycho-educational groups.
Interns would receive weekly individual supervisions and consultations provided
by prescribers.
- One (1) Bachelors Level Internship opportunity in Marysville. The internship entails group services and case management for adults and older adults with serious and persistent mental issues.

CHILDREN'S INTENSIVE SERVICES
These internships have been filled for this quarter.
- One (1) Masters level intern
Intern Therapist: to work with high needs children and families on the Children's Hospitalization Alternative Program (CHAP) and our Therapeutic Foster Care Program. The Intern would provide clinical intervention as a part of a treatment team. Counseling is provided in the home, office and community and on an individual, family and group basis. Group Co-facilitation opportunities are available. We provide a high level of supervision, consultation, training and support. Evening hours are often necessary.
- One (1) Bachelors level intern
Intern Mental Health Technician: who will work as a part of the treatment team providing intensive mental health services to children and families using a wrap around service model. Intern would be involved in supporting client treatment goals by working on teaching and reinforcing skills under the direction of the lead clinician. Service may be provided individually, within family or in a group setting. Duties may include providing short term respite to foster parents. May be a part of the team providing Independent Living Skills training to teens in foster care. Evening hours are necessary, weekends negotiable.
- One (1) Bachelors level intern
Intern Foster Home Support Provider: to work assisting our Foster home recruiter and Foster home licenser. Duties would include promoting our Therapeutic Foster Care program in the community, working on marketing ideas, support duties, looking for fundraising opportunities, helping speak to prospective foster parents, assisting in coordinating trainings for foster parents and providing support to foster parents and children in the foster homes. May occasionally provide short term respite for foster parents so that they may attend required trainings. Hours will involve some evenings and weekends.

Multi-Cultural Services
provides services to diverse clients. Most speak English as a second language, may be of a minority group and/or have disabilities. There are opportunities to do therapy and case management both in-office in Everett and in clients' homes. Weekly supervision with focus on cross-cultural counseling and sensitivity to diversity, weekly division/clinical meetings, psychiatric consultation.

Social Work/Counseling Opportunity
Comsumers Group and Parenting & LifeSkills Education Classes.
This unique opportunity provides the chance for you to do one on one counseling/case management, psycho educational/behavioral groups and facilitate a self-led consumer group. A wide variety of experiences are offered, including teaching skills, conflict resolution, parenting skills, individual counseling/case management, leading groups, planning activities, and planning outings.
- The training will include developing teaching skills in areas such as anger management and parenting skills, individual counseling skills, leading groups, planning social skills through Compass Health and some case management.
